My immediate reaction was Wow this is fast! It feels like Vista has been given a big kick up the backside, flicking through Windows seems more snappy and programs install and run faster. All was well in the ProCookie SP1 RC land until out of the BLUE i got a blue screen of death. The problem occurred every time i used Windows Media Canter extended on my Xbox 360. Every time i closed Media Center i got the BOSD. After many hours cursing and moaning i stumbled upon the cure. The problem was i setup my Media Canter Extender before running the Windows Media Center Initial Setup from within my Vista based PC, after doing the wizard it was all fine and dandy.  Apart from this little mishap the first SP1 RC is an extreme performance boost than previous builds and it its looking like there's light at the end of the tunnel for the very first Windows Vista Service Pack.
